Still in Kermit mode.. Feeling like hell, and living in it. I still miss my hair:(
Today’s news wasn’t
More walled garden activity from the cellphone crowd with Cingular announcing a myspace plan for $2.99 a month , oh and you’ll need a dataplan and there’s charges for transfer and it’s just so needlessly pointless I wish they wouldn’t bother. Exclusive use of the mobile API. Mm wonder for how long? Really this is seen as a big deal and I may just be ignorant enough to be missing things but what I’ve seen of Myspace ( too much
doesn’t seem to lead well to compacting it down into , into , well I’d love to try it but it’s only on one network.. Jesus stop selling social to me as a club. YouTube on the phone didn’t excite me either. Heck please design me something useful that you want a phone to do!!!

The Missionary Position:Mother Teresa in theory and practice.
I’ve long been on the MT bashing side and have seen the supporting documentary and countless Hitchens articles on this “Saintly” shrew that loved the poor, as long as they stayed poor and when possible dead. The book outlines a case for her villification over beatification given her position to assist those that she refused to, cuddled up to political types that would make Kissinger blush and on the whole took in an ark load of money to assist the poor but then was stuck with the usual charitable dilemma. My contempt for the Albanian bitch knows no bounds. It’s a short read but ultimately the lack of an ultimate authority to send her to the hell she’d deserve is frustrating.
Funny how the Democratic hope “O Bomb A” has started to catch some flack for being , er rather too much like the “Washington war party” Sadly morning shows like to point out he has charisma and and and oh fuck we’re done. No really we’re done if that’s all it takes to be electable is that “he speaks nicely” I worry about the USA cos I get the underlying feeling they want to say “.. for a black man” Otherwise why point out he can speak… it’s setting the bar too low. Can he Think!
Got Fucked?
Ah this is a great story about just how hypocritical our Senators in AZ are. Further proof ( like more is needed) that the USA is NOT a free market and it’s actually into price controls when it suits those in power. The short version. One guy found a way to sell his milk, legally, cheaper which didn’t go down well with the competitors so they brought vast sums of money to bear to force him to do so.
Hettinga’s operation was “damaging to the marketplace,” explains Elvin Hollon of the Dairy Farmers of America. “So the regulations had to change.”
Republican Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona, who has received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Hettinga’s competitors, went to work ginning up a bill that would require Hettinga to pay all the “extra” money he saved by operating outside the federal pool, right back into the “pool” that regulated his main Arizona competitor, Shamrock Foods Co. – removing any incentive or ability for him to sell his milk at a lower price.
Hard to get angry about this? Then you’re a moron
