Freedomain: The Logic of Personal and Political Freedom: Freedom’s Failure: A Theory of Cause and Effect
There is only one solution. We must take aim at the only soft belly the Leviathan possesses. We must reclaim the language. We must take back the moral core of the debate.
We need to explicitly state that our cause is a moral cause. That we are fighting as the civil-rights leaders fought. As the anti-slavery crusaders fought. Not for incremental gains. Not to educate our enemies or sway the undecided with statistics and economics – but to end the State, the greatest moral evil in the history of the world. With our words, our moral certainty, we rise to do battle with the State itself, which slaughters the helpless by the hundreds of millions.
This is an excellent post which seems to “go there” by which I don’t mean to turn a serious message into the vernacular of daytime tv but those are the lumpen masses that will have to be persuaded by a moral , or at least be told it’s a moral, argument rather than by using reason, which has been resoundingly ignored rather than defeated, which takes time and assumes a level of engagement from the other side that’s just not there. I used to come off as a totally selfish bastard ( not much has changed) but now that I have wifelette and kid you have no idea how much anger I have in being forced to pay for other people’s offspring and medical care when having to wait hours to pay for the same thing myself. That we both have to work to pay for the level of taxation that allows others to stay at home with their kids is profoundly immoral and it’s something that should be obvious to anybody with a brain. Half of my income shouldn’t be going to taxes, fees, income tax, rates, sales tax, utility tax, each phone line is taxed, the car registration is taxed so is the gas that goes in it. I have to pay emissions regardless that my car doesn’t even go through the process and so on it quite simply is immoral to force my family to give yours money when I could either work less and spend more time with my kid or give him a more secure future shouldn’t that be my choice?

Today I managed to get to the doctors, odd how they want sick people to come to them. When I was growing up we had doctors come to us which now is only a privilige that the rich and the poor can afford:) Ok Seemingly and you can say this in a Canadian accent , I have a massive sinus infection to boot ( like about) and I have a collection of fun and exciting pills all with dire side effects which I hope cancel each other out. The irony of me being offed by prescription medication instead of the more foolish things i’ve done would be very annoying and Erin will have to pass that on to others that I wasn’t a happy camper. Rage into the dying light my ass, it’s time to take off and nuke that light from orbit.. it’s the only way to be sure. On a happier note once again I lost weight .
Thankfully Erin has suffered me well, her parents have assisted with the offspring and work won’t miss me that much since I could really fuck up some timelines by sneezing on people:) I’m maybe well enough to return.. Now for the hard part. go to sleep on meds that may cause insomnia when I already have it . If I invent the pharmalogically impossible time machine I’ll be sure to let you know last week. Thanks.

BBC NEWS | Health | Medical notes | T-Z | Winter vomiting virus
“I am told that people can vomit straight out for about a yard.”
There is no recognised treatment for the illness – patients should be given fluids to keep them hydrated and wait for it to pass.
It normally does so in 24-60 hours in the vast majority of patients, although there may be some after-effects such as fatigue.
I hadn’t fully gotten over the last bought, then one all night ER, major change in Erin’s schedule and 4 days of no sleep I end up here, truly this sucketh the big one.
