Apology on the cards as police pup picture sparks warning over offence to Muslims – Scotsman.com News

A POLICE force has apologised over concerns that an advertisement featuring a German shepherd pup could be offensive to the Islamic community. As part of a campaign to publicise its new non-emergency telephone number, Tayside Police used a picture of a black puppy, Rebel, on postcards to be distributed throughout the east coast region.

Now the rest of the story From a local paper.

Doesn’t it look like the Police apologized to one man :) One councillor  but  let’s see how that story played over here in the USA , the Freedom center of the world.  Fucking pigs never apologized to me for an baseless allegation but hey  I don’t  hack off people’s heads that offend me in the name of my invisible friend.

I just make fun of them online.

Now this is a cunt of a problem. Reporting news without coming off as a bit of a pussy.

I would have thought blasphemy  to be a victimless crime.  The funniest thing about the story  was the article having cunt obscured as a word but a picture showing the same word on the t shirt.  Maybe that’s why this is hard to take seriously :)

Silly  Aussie,  rights are for Amurrricans;)

ZGeek – Teen arrested for “Jesus is a Cunt” T-shirt

Quote:
It is blasphemous, will get you arrested and has sparked debate about Australia’s lack of a Bill of Rights.

Meet Cradle of Filth, an extreme metal band from England. Their offensive shirt that claims ‘Jesus is a (expletive deleted)’ and depicts a nun masturbating.

A 16-year-old was arrested on Monday for wearing the shirt and was charged with offensive behaviour under the Summary Offences Act 2005 for public nuisance.

Senior Sergeant Arron Ottaway said the teen was walking along Hollywell Road, in Biggera Waters, when a officer saw him.

More on the incident I posted about last week with relation to the  need our , come on let’s keep the fiction going,  employees castigating  their bosses for a lack of moral fibre.  At the time I didn’t want to confuse the issue, which was mainly the reporting , by adding in more things people don’t want to hear.

Well  now’s the time:)

"We no longer have a moral compass," said the guy who devotes a good portion of his day to stealing other peoples’ property ("Year to date we have seized close to 180 guns," Daryl brags on his blog, "last year we seized 400. In one day alone Vice and Narcotics detectives conducted seven hot spot details, resulting in 42 arrests, seizure of two firearms, three vehicles, ten grams of crack, 1,300 bags of Heroin, and 12 grams of cocaine"). "Anything goes," despaired this "chief among plunderers."

Supreme Court hears arguments on gun ownership – CNN.com

Firstly CNN’s title on the above story is about gun rights. Guns are not sentient. They basically have no rights , nor can have rights bestowed upon them. So framing the argument in this manner is asinine but expected.

Now onto the local media. Or as Penn puts it best… “and then there’s these assholes”

Note this is a report by the investigators at Phoenix’s ABC affiliate , the “real” reporters that do more than take an autocue to the eyeball while looking cute (ish) The problem is this. The question about “kids carrying guns” MM let’s check the law.

You have to be 21 to purchase a handgun/ carry concealed in AZ.

If this law went through NO KIDS would be carrying anything. These are the people that are meant to safeguard us from duplicitious lying fucks and expose hidden agendas? Well if they want a story, and help save the environment they don’t need to look too far.

Twenty one is not a kid. If you believe otherwise you have to be kidding, right?

Once you think black, as in votes, you can’t go back to treating people as individuals. Cnn Again.

Updated: added link to apology.

It’s been a week since I saw an apology on CNN’s site with regards to their hinting at the black women would be conflicted in the Democratic primary because.

  • Obama is black
  • Hillary is a woman

Yep to the mainstream media outward physical appearance is your sole basis for picking the person you believe will steal from you less.

Or more realistically steals in the manner you would do so yourself if you had the balls to do it without hiding within the mob. ( called taxation people )

Anyway let’s see how sincere CNN were with their apology. Look at today’s headline story.

Sen. Barack Obama is facing a crucial test of support within the
Democratic Party, as polls opened Saturday in a race in which more than
half the voters are expected to be African-American.

And yeah so what? Is democracy really that bankrupt? Are black women so homogenized that gender and race define their thought process ? Yes on the former and no on the latter. The only people suffering from groupthink seems to be MSM outlets that are getting away with magical thinking in lieu of reporting.

E.g

I bet those guys think that the weather maps they show actually creates the weather.

Take a look at yet another day living on the planet.  I ‘m not sure if it’s my sensitivity to all these stories involving violence within families  appearing of late or that there’s been an escalation.  Regardless  I don’t like the way the AP and others parroting their feed have turned the 18 year olds behavior into an alleged rape and the vigilantes into “fact”.

Taking the law into your own hands. I love that line it’s bullshit.  Yes you can  but you have to live with the consequences.   I’m pretty sure that if the  18 year old’s guilt  is provable that  a Texas jury  might just help ensure his continued anal expansion is on the cards.

Not a smart step family.
The mother, er you can’t see that  assisting this alleged rapist get out of jail may upset the father.
As to the idiot teen accepting a lift from the father of the child he raped, oh allegedly,  WTF is that about he deserved worse just for thinking “we’re cool right? ”

The Associated Press: Cops: Man Sodomized Stepson in Revenge

A father sodomized his 18-year-old stepson to avenge the teenager’s alleged rape of the man’s 8-year-old daughter, police said.

I’ve read enough blogs to know that my posts are  ill formed, scatter brained and  on the whole successful. My only criteria for success is  did it amuse me at that time. So it’s with great glee that I point to a “perfessional” pundit making a case that the Skipper of the container ship that hit the Bay Bridge could  drive through.  So 10% is too low,  mm how about 25%?  you know to bring it in line for the 200 million adults, about 1/2 of which voted and then  half of those voted for the  current President.

Commentary: A few states shouldn’t decide presidency – CNN.com

Americans want fairness, and there is nothing fair about less than 10 percent of the states in America choosing the next president for the rest of us.

CNN goes Woo woo nuts. Seemingly there’s no news in the realty market but reality, that escapes them too.

Does your house have ghosts? – CNN.com

Check qualifications

Once you’ve found an investigator you’re comfortable with, ask him how long he’s been involved in paranormal research, and about his past investigations — especially those involving private residences. If he claims to be some sort of “doctor,” ask what kind of doctor he is. Find out if he’s affiliated with a research group or a national organization, such as the American Ghost Society. Being affiliated with a group with a good reputation can help you make a better decision about allowing him into your home. You can also call the organization and request additional information….After all, anyone can launch a Web site, but the quality of the material on it speaks volumes about who’s behind it.

Yep  CNN anyone can have a website.

Hey Looks like we’ve got us a reader here…

Wow,   This is sobering.   Anyone that cared to look at the actions of the Maricopa Sheriff over the past years  probably has questions. That’s cool  just keep them to yourself….

Phoenix – News – Breathtaking Abuse of the Constitution

In a breathtaking abuse of the United States Constitution, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, and their increasingly unhinged cat’s paw, special prosecutor Dennis Wilenchik, used the grand jury to subpoena “all documents related to articles and other content published by Phoenix New Times newspaper in print and on the Phoenix New Times website, regarding Sheriff Joe Arpaio from January 1, 2004 to the present.”

Every note, tape, and record ……

Who says Commies are not cool? Can we has nootralty?

Here is an interesting problem with podcasting, and many other forms of social media.  One might almost call it a beggar’s banquet when you consider that we’re a very large party with millions of people who’ve all chipped in their contributions yet somehow the waiters are not getting a tip.Even worse than that the bill is short.

Bandwidth is “expensive” roughly $90 a terabyte give or take a few bucks depending on how large a user of it that you are .There aren’t many services that for a nominal fee will allow you to consume “infinite” resources hedged against the vast majority off their users using a minimal amount but that’s where the net has ended up ( at least the marketing of it has done so)

Ergo it should be obvious that the vast majority are subsidizing the top of the pyramid yet by an “amazing”  coincidence those are the ones  agitating for such noble and egalitarian causes such as net neutrality you know that’s were the evil corporations limit access based on the idea that if they do not recuperate the cost of providing the service then that service and indeed the company will no longer exist.

Which is a victory for whom exactly?

Nearly every business has already built in the costs associated with the percentage of bad customers, internal theft and things that just go wrong but somehow that’s meant to fall to the whims of people that are basically saying give me a free  pass or we won’t give you business ( I’d agree to that)   sadly they are saying give us a free pass or we’ll force you to do so… lovely.

I have never been a fan of the term net neutrality and feel that it’s all too often used to obfuscate the issues that occur at carrier or network level where the network owners prevent rival services from even connecting or being allowed to exist against the terms and conditions that they wish to sell their access on

A new game show, sport for fat people or just an idea whose time has come.

Having keep myself abreast of the degeneration of games shows into games with degenerates I would  like to state that for the record I’m not only smarter than a 5th grader  ( sorry Ender but you’re fictional, failing that there’s the old adage of  might making right but that’s another story.  ( no seriously, democracy = Might makes right with better record keeping)

I want to take my frustration out on the employees of the fast food world, their managers, their managers and the people that eat at them ( oops I’m shooting myself here)

There’s going to be five levels.

Contestants must work for a chain restaurant that’s considered fast food.
The chains have to be large enough to cover several states.

The premise?   People being offered a way out of their  “McJobs” while relying on their fellows competence to get them there. Yes you order food, you go to a fast food location at lunchtime and hope they get the order right. Maybe by the million you fly the person to a random outlet so there’s no collusion likely ( It’s a million bucks after all)

Start off with  $5 which if the order you make is completed correctly  you win $500
$10  wins you $1000
$25 wins you $25000
$50 wins you $100000
$100 wins  you the million

I was thinking of  having outs like “call the manager”, or “supersize me” but.. dammit I want them to get an inkling of how frustrating it is to order   20 times in a month between us as a couple  yet 3/4 of the time have  a sub $10 order be incorrect, missing elements or  my favorite  another cars order.

This can be done only once, no repeats which is more than can be said for the food.

One of my life rules .. never eat food that costs less than the medication it would take to correct.

I think I need a review ultimatum.. Bourne’s visual tourettes is no substitute for putting on a show.

Hell’s donkey’s.

It’s not Run Jason Run since thankfully it’s linear and there’s no need to relive it another two times( unless you had the misfortune to see the prequels)

The first above 90% review on Rotten Tomatoes that I disagree with. That this is called intelligent thriller would seem to suggest a population too stupid to not keep voting for wars ( that would mean by voting either side) oh wait I’d better stop.:D

Smart? I’m sorry but pointing out that most trained killers volunteer for this is hardly intelligent, it’s a gee duh! Then again most of the country believes that doing so is the highest civic good. Smart? There’s a reason Quis custodiet ipsos custodes isn’t exactly a revelation.

Visual flair does not equal unlocking a tripod and whip panning the audience into oblivion. There’s a scene, a continuous take with Tony Jaa that show’s exactly what’s possible and yes the impacts lost on You Tube but I really can’t stand violence choppy , fragmented and then it’s carried over into cars. The Director must not have seen the amazing work on “Children of men” and decided that the real world is shaky, really shaky. It’s like trying to watch a hammer work out it’s relationship to a nail.

The Bourne Ultimatum – Rotten Tomatoes

General bits and pieces.

Usually I wouldn’t bring up anything related to local news that only effects those involved , I’ve never been a fan of the devaluation of the term tragedy which should involve a personal failing or trait leading to the demise of you or the things you were trying to save  but hey language evolves  but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.  What’s interesting is the  idea that a person committing a crime is  culpable for the fate of those that  profit from the coverage of such crimes.  It’s also an unpopular idea which is why I’m interested in it and had I the recall to pull the part from Chuang Tsu’s  story about the robber and the emperor there’s be a good point about  pursuit  of good/ bad  artificially shortening life  ( given the way work’s been going I can certainly testify to that)

A guy called  Jones steals a car  and two of the choppers following the chase collide.

2 news copters collide over Phoenix; 4 killed

The home was then surrounded by police. Shortly after 3 p.m., Jones
surrendered to police without incident.
When asked if Jones could be held criminally liable for the deaths of
the men on the two aircraft, Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris said
forcefully, “Yes.”

I’m curious as to how they are going to achieve this and how many steps removed you have to be to escape justice.  Next time a car crashes on the road can we charge the  driver for causing a rubber necker to rear ends another car?

SV650.

Today I took the bike out  for my first spin.  I’m 80% ok with it but it just isn’t as smooth or comfy as the last one I had  plus I picked the shittiest day to drive it re  101 traffic being crawl for 10 miles which is no fun on any bike.  The Speedo is grossly inaccurate ,laughably so and it’s a know fault on them  which is odd, how hard that bit to get right?   Anyway it brakes well, don’t ask how I know this, are  very good and it was a Scion XB that changed lanes, changed back then came to a  stop that proved this..

Still feeling off, icky throat, sore head and  today was the first day in a few  that I  woke without the equivalent of a hangover ( even though no drink)

Dreamliners no longer an adult diaper..:D Boeing “unveils” the next generation of mid range airliners.

Here’s the kinda of news I love a new large aircraft that takes what was now, and made it very much then. I’m pretty sure I’ll put up with the TSA  to get on one of these things:)   Wouldn’t it be nice to conquer the world through tech, rather than with it?
